Dell's Latitude XT Tablet PC to hit our shores

Dell has brought in their Latitude XT Tablet P, which they claim is the thinnest and one of the lightest 12.1-inch convertible tablets available. Dell also claim that it is the brightest in its category with an optional daylight viewing panel. The Latitude XT is a 1.63kg (starting weight) convertible tablet with pen and capacitive touch capability.

The Latitude XT uses Capacitive technology that senses the touch of a finger with no pressure required for the system to recognize input. According to Dell, it is the forerunner to emerging multi-touch capabilities that allow the use of more than one finger for tasks such as zoom and repositioning a picture, to name a few.

The Dell Latitude XT starts at RM7,880 (including delivery) and Dell will begin to take orders of Latitude XT by the end of the year.
